The upper’s complex panelling system has been taken down a notch with a soft black suede dominating the majority of the shoe. The mesh underlay adopts a dark shade of grey that allows for the lighter laces and “N” branding to stand out. Playing into the dark motif is the premium suede that forms the top of the tongue and heel panel, taking a sidestep from the usual light-hearted grey that is synonymous with the brand. Underneath, the standard dual-coloured 2002R midsole is present, giving the silhouette the all-day comfort that it’s slowly being recognised for. The GORE-TEX presence is felt through the inner lining, adding to the pair’s functional capabilities.
