Ronnie Fieg x New Balance 2002R Pistachio

The Founder of KITH Ronnie Fieg is back with another pack. This time the king of collaborations has set his eyes on New Balance’s 993 and 2002R, drawing his “Pistachio” brush with which to paint these. The NB2002R burst back onto the scene in 2021 with a set of hot releases and were quick to land themselves into the wardrobes of sneakerheads amongst their towering piles of shoe boxes. Now Fieg flexes his fingers and has his turn on the silhouette with this “Pistachio” rendition.

The upper on the 2002R is draped in soft suede and uses one shade of green to tell its story. The intricate and layered panelling system stick by one-another with the help of stitching and white laces. The “N” is outlined with a thick white embroidery while the “2002R” hides on the side lines under the collar. A pre-age guise has been given to the ABZORB SBS heel cushioning system as the rest of the midsole seeks to compliment the upper with an elegant cream. Fieg has consistently been able to draw on the artistic beauty of silhouettes with his thoughtful colourways and again strikes gold with this release.
