The women’s exclusive Sézane x New Balance 471 “Ecru Brown” reimagines the retro-inspired trainer with a chic Parisian aesthetic. Established in 2013 by Morgane Sézalory as the first French fashion brand strictly selling online, Sézane went on to expand with multiple store locations (dubbed Appartements) across Europe and the United States. This debut collaboration with New Balance marks a historic milestone for the Paris-based label, signifying more potential projects in the near future.
This elegant NB 471 features a beige textile underlay crafted in recycled polyester and cotton. A rich brown shade envelops the premium suede overlays on the eyestay and “fang” toe box detail, which originated from the old-school NB 320 running shoe. A navy blue “N” adorns the side panels, complementing the bright orange “NB” logo on the tongue and the co-branding on the insole. The wedged EVA midsole offers ample cushioning and stability, harkening back to the revolutionary design of ‘70s runners. Below, the wavy herringbone treads deliver reliable traction.
