Japanese fashion label AURALEE reunites with New Balance to revive the obscure NB 475 for its SS25 collection. The collaboration highlights two colourways of the archival trainer, which debuted in the ‘80s as a trail-running shoe. Releasing alongside the “Green” iteration, the AURALEE x New Balance 475 “Grey Brown” presents a minimalist take on the streamlined runner.
This colourway starts with a grey mesh underlay, incorporating the Boston-based sportswear brand’s signature greyscale palette. Buttery smooth suede wraps the midfoot, offset by assorted brown suede overlays covering the mudguard, quarter, and heel. The “N” logos decorate the sidewalls, complementing the minimalist label on the tongue and leather back tab. A low-profile polyurethane rim and C-CAP foam midsole deliver comfort beyond the trails, backed by a durable lug outsole.
