Miu Miu x New Balance 530 SL Ecru

Italian luxury fashion brand and Prada sister label Miu Miu reunites with New Balance to reinterpret one of the beloved retro running sneakers from the early ‘90s, the NB 530. This capsule marks the third joint venture between the two brands, following a series of NB 574 releases in 2022 and early 2023. The Miu Miu x New Balance 530 SL “Ecru” takes deconstructed concepts to greater heights, immersing the classic retro trainer with a stunning design overhaul.

Similar to the pre-distressed aesthetics of the handful of New Balance 574 collaborations, this New Balance 530 iteration has a monotone beige suede construction, with offset dual laces and eye-catching co-branded Miu Miu and NB tags on the tongue. Colourful extra sets of laces further deviate from the neutral-based upper makeover of the shoe. Meanwhile, the upper base sits directly above the sole, removing the entire foam midsole for a low-profile, flat-soled update.
