New Balance 550 Navy Suede

New Balance's 550 retro basketball trainers transitioned into a lifestlye model in 2020 after Teddy Santis revived the archived pair through his fashion brand Aimé Leon Dore. The low-top shoes quickly gained attention from the masses, encouraging the Boston-based brand to follow up with in-line releases. The New Balance 550 Suede Navy is the latest addition to the GR line-up, featuring suede panels that gives it a more premium look than the leather variants.

A deep navy colourway embraces almost the entire shoe, leaving only the tongues and sections of the heel in white to deliver a pop of contrast. This NB550 maintains its classic branding motifs, such as the "N" logos across the lateral and medial side, "550" text towards the front, and the "NB" stamp on the tongues and heels. A full-length EVA-cushioned midsole ensure that these are comfortable on and off the court.
