New Balance's 550 entered the sneaker industry back in 1989 as basketball shoes. In 2020, founder of the fashion and lifestyle brand Aimé Leon Dore, Teddy Santis, revived the archived gem in the form a lifestyle shoe. Alongside all the high-heat collaborations on the table are fresh in-line colourways like the New Balance 550 Teal Purple Pink.

Like most New Balance 550s, these come with perforations across the leather panelling on the sides, providing lasting breathability. While most of the forefoot is in a crisp white colour, counterparts, including the suede heel counters, feature a mixture of teal, purple, and pink hues, interrupting the neutral composition. Although, New Balance's famous "N" logo opts for a cream shade accompanied by grey elements beneath the EVA-cushioned midsole to balance out the upper's wild colour arrangement. The pair is finally complete with classic NB branding details on the tongue, insoles, and heels.
