Fat Joe x Nike Air Force 1 Low EMB Terror Squad

This recent leak looks to be a collaboration between Nike and New York native, rapper Fat Joe. This duo which might be a surprise to some, has in fact been years in the making. Fat Joe is regarded as a true OG sneakerhead, having once owned over 3000 pairs of Air Force 1’s, which earned himself the title of the “Orange Box King”. Just look at any of his collection videos online and you can see the rows upon rows of your classic orange Nike box for yourself.

Joe’s relationship with Nike and the infamous “Reggie” throughout the early 2000s, helped him acquire a load of Terror Squad exclusives. In the music video to his mega hit “Lean Back”, you can see him wearing one of these TS exclusives in a baby pink colourway. This was just one example of him bringing worldwide attention to the silhouette. However if you asked the rapper himself, it’s just another essential as coming up in the Bronx, “Timberlands and Air Forces are like brushing your teeth in the morning”.

This grey, white and pink colourway was once a highly exclusive friends and family pair. So now that these are set to release next summer, Air Force heads are already licking their lips. While we don't know how limited these Terror Squad Air Forces will be, make sure you keep your eye on the ball if you're set on grabbing a pair for the collection.
