Nike Air Force 1 Low Space Jam
The Nike Air Force 1 silhouette is undeniably the ultimate icon on-court. Initially debuted in 1982 as a pair of basketball performance kicks, footwear designer Bruce Kilgore certainly deserves high praise for the model's contemporary looks and unmatched cushioning. As for its latest offering, the Nike Air Force 1 Low Space Jam certainly holds grail status for long-term Nike shoe collectors. We've got a closer look at the pair, so read on as we dive deeper!
Arriving in a low-top profile for a clean and streamlined look, the pair showcases playful motifs that pay homage to the 1996 American live-action/animated sports movie Space Jam, starring Michael Jordan. Not only that but also an obvious nod to the reproduced version, this time, starring legendary basketball player Lebron James, LA Lakers' shooting guard and small forward.
The ensemble sports a tumbled leather base in white, accompanied with UNC-reminiscent overlays and cutout figures of Bugs and Lola Bunny. Of course, this pair wouldn't be complete with the chunky Air midsole underfoot providing comfort and cushioning that lasts all day.
