Premium Goods x Nike Air Force 1 Low Opal White Multi

Texas-based Sneaker Boutique Premium Goods has been allowed to give the Nike Air Force 1, you guessed it, a premium update. Arriving as a set of two, this “Opal White Multi” pair certainly does the classic silhouette justice and is a release all sneakerheads should be looking forward to. Established in 2004, Premium Goods has been around long enough to know what makes a shoe worth having, reaching into its extensive back catalogue of sneaker knowledge to execute this unique Air Force 1.

The midsole is seen here in an all-white, a simple touch that lets the detail-heavy upper take the lead and prevents the shoe from being overbearing. The beading on the Swoosh and heel tab is the most eye-catching addition to the shoe, a nod to the small hand-crafted objects found in markets that we are so drawn to as children. A quilted leather forms the side wall that underlays the Swoosh, small star perforations a sign of the shoe’s thoughtful construction. The laces that are made from actual rope, play into the hand-made motif introduced by the beading, the gold dubrae representing the quality behind the collaboration. Co-branding can be found on the leather tongue label that sits on the perforated tongue, a small spell out logo in red keeping it subtle. It’s much of the same story on the inside, a plush quasi-silk lining and red carpet insole acting as a reminder of the fine establishment that is Premium Goods.
