.SWOOSH x Nike Air Force 1 Low 404 Error

Nike’s WEB3 platform titled .SWOOSH will be releasing its second footwear project, the Air Force 1 Low "404 Error". Paying homage to the infamous ‘404 Error’ code, anyone Gen Z and below will recognise the Windows XP blue hue that'll instantly cast you back to the days of the late '90s and early '00s.

Thanks to large library of vinyl and patent leather editions from the early 2000s, collectors could fall head over heels for this unusual AF1 tooling, while newcomers could be left with a few raised eyebrows. We love the concept behind these, with a lot more eyes already being drawn to this 404 Air Force 1, these will most likely be a lot harder to cop than the Tinaj release.

Sporting a one-piece upper, all of the traditional panelling is nowhere to be found, almost as if it didn’t have time to load… Similar to the Off-White ankle collar feature, a simple white lettering reading, “404 Error The requested upper was not found. Try again.”, can be found printed on in the typical “Trebuchet” font (an important pain point for any serious font maestros out there). The tongue label is also reversed, with Nike's quality slogan stitched onto the outer tongue, with the inside bearing a .SWOOSH logo underneath an embroidered 404 circle stamp. The virtual studio’s brand can also be spotted on the bullet silver dubrae, while on the inside a unique # number is accompanied by the “This is not a JPEG” message that has previously featured on its apparel line.

Releasing exclusively on the Nike SNKRS app to those who have created a .SWOOSH account before the 18th of April 2024, these quirky looking AF1s will run you back £130. The official release date is set as the 23rd of April 2024, but unless you've got that .SWOOSH account it's looking like The Sole Supplier Marketplace will be the best spot to pick these up at.
