It is no secret that Michael Jordan is a fan of golf. Having picked up the sport during his time at the Chicago Bulls as a way to blow off steam, Jordan Brand designed Golf versions of his Air Jordan line for him to T off in. As a result, there has been a range of Air Jordan Golf releases for the average sneakerhead, however, whether any of them see a Green is another thing in itself.
The Air Jordan 1 Low is back in its golf makeup, now sporting a mock-crocodile upper to take a walk on the premium side. The all-white upper removes the colourway from the centre view and points the camera towards the material quality instead. The fake crocodile leather on the toe guard, Swoosh and heel panels nod to the traditional shoes that were often seen in the sport, most of which boasted the real thing. Smooth leather can be found on the sidewall and toe box, forgoing the crocodile texture seen on the other panels, providing the flexion needed for the upper to remain comfortable. The midsole has also been given the golfing update with its new tread, containing aggressive lugs that balance traction and pivoting, a key element to anybody’s game.
If you’re after this pair of Air Jordan 1 Low Golf in “Croc White” for the collection, then be sure to check out The Sole Supplier for more details on the drop.
