Nike Air Max 1 Familia Pink

Nike continues to honour the traditional Mexican holiday Dia de los Muertos with another iteration of the quintessential Nike Air Max 1. Having recently dropped the “Familia Pink Multi” to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, the Oregon-based sportswear powerhouse unveils the “Con Mi Familia” 2023 collection, centred around the essence of close-knit families. This Nike Air Max 1 “Familia Pink” is a tribute to the love and joy associated with everlasting family ties.

Equipped with a predominantly pink upper, this vibrant Nike Air Max 1 iteration has a lightweight hemp base with leather overlays encompassing the mudguard, midfoot, and heel for added durability and protection. Ornate embroidered details engulf the toe, Swoosh, and rear in colourful neon accents, a homage to the intricate patterns spotted on Mexican sugar skulls. Purple hues adorn the Nike Air Max label on the tongue and Familia branding on the sockliner. The PU foam midsole veers away from the spirited design of the upper, instead displaying a gradient effect transitioning from light pink to white, highlighting the visible pink Air Max unit in the heel. The classic waffle sole has the same white tone to wrap up this attention-grabbing AM1 rendition.
