Nike Air Max 1 GS Sport Red

Nike’s Tinker Hatfield-designed silhouette that first featured visible Air units, the Air Max 1, has a new, smaller-sized edition punctuated by a bold red. Meet the Nike Air Max 1 GS “Sport Red”.

This low-top AM1 has a breathable mesh base in pristine white showing on the toe box, the mid-panels and the collar. The smooth leather overlays on the mid-panels are a light grey. The toe cap and the wraparound mudguard, on the other hand, are in the classic “University Red” hue. The signature profile Swooshes on both the medial and lateral quarter panels are in a fiery “Sport Red”. The branding on the tongue labels and the heel tabs also follow suit. A white midsole with an exposed Air Max unit at the heel and a black waffle-patterned rubber outsole complete the look of this shoe.
