Did you know that the Air Max 90 was first known as the Air Max 3? It was renamed the Air Max 90, after the year of its release, in 2000. Check out one of the silhouette’s latest drops, the Nike Air Max 90 “Black Gum”.
This AM90 has a pitch black canvas base. The nubuck and leather overlays on the rest of the shoe are also in the same ebony shade. Bluish grey ribbed TPU accents can be found on the eye stay panels and the heel tabs. The pebbled leather signature profile Swooshes on both sides of the shoe are in contrasting light grey. A 3M reflective finish on the laces, Swooshes and tongue labels make the shoe great for night-time running. A charcoal grey midsole with exposed Air units at the heel and a caramel-coloured gum rubber outsole cap off this release.
