Nike Air Max 90 GS Multi

The Nike Air Max 90 has always been known for its colourful uppers. A new variant in a GS size shows off primary colours and sustainable materials, the Nike Air Max 90 GS Multi.

The base of this smaller-sized shoe’s upper is recycled textured fabric in light grey, showing on the toe box and the collar. The tumbled leather overlays on the toe cap, the first layer of the mudguard and part of the eyestay panel are all pitch black. Another mudguard layer overlaps the initial black one in a dark grey recycled fabric. The eyestay is made of ribbed TPU in vivid red and royal blue. The signature profile Swooshes on both the medial and lateral quarters are in complementary yellow. This all-white backdrop makes the single eye-catching detail of the shoe stand out, a removable gold bracelet hanging from the collar featuring charms in the form of a shoebox, Swoosh, and 1990, the inaugural year of the Air Max. A white sole unit housing an exposed Air cassette completes the look of the shoe. Embroidered touches of “Air Sprung” collection details show up on this shoe: a yellow butterfly on the left insole, yellow caterpillars on a black Swoosh and yellow and black bees on the royal blue heel tabs, all featuring mini Swooshes. The white Pinwheel logo on the teal-coloured right insole confirms that this shoe is part of Nike’s “Move to Zero” campaign. A snowy white midsole features ribbed TPU housing teal-coloured exposed Air units. A rubber outsole with sections of yellow, grey and red, completes the look of the shoe.
