The stunning Slawn x Nike Air Max 90 “White Speckle” headlines the first-ever Nike collaboration by British-Nigerian artist Olaolu Slawn. Beginning his journey as one of the founders of the Nigerian streetwear brand Motherlan, which gained recognition from Virgil Abloh, Slawn’s debut project with the Swoosh marks another milestone in his young, promising career.

This reworked AM90 boasts a sail leather upper with an updated mudguard wrapping from heel to toe. Subtle white speckles decorate the front sections of the shoe, nodding to the artist’s talent in spray paint. Carved textures construct the crisp white Swoosh on the sidewalls, allowing it to blend atop the quarter and collar. The metallic gold eyelets usher in a luxurious touch to the neutral-toned colour scheme. A debossed label adorns the padded tongue, complementing the embossed logo on the rubber overlay on the rear. The polyurethane midsole carries a TPU foam column which houses a visible Air unit for stable cushioning. Waffle treads on the outsole deliver traction and flexibility at every step.
