Nike Air Max 95 I-95 Hiking

The Air Max 95 continues to shapeshift across eras and inspirations, with this latest form one of its most rugged yet, drawing inspiration from hiking styles. Nicknamed the “I-95,” this updated take on the OG Big Bubble swaps classic mesh and suede for a sleek, blackout build inspired by outdoor trail gear and road-tested durability.

Forgoing the familiar layered construction, the upper is molded into a seamless, shell-like formation that recalls Nike’s early 2010s Vac Tech tech, retooled here with hiker-style metal eyelets and a ballistic nylon tongue. The palette stays sharp with tonal blacks and Off Noir throughout, while subtle branding tweaks — like a “95” logo at the tongue and a bare Swoosh hit on the heel — keep the silhouette focused on form and function.
