This super-exclusive Nike Air Max 95 pays homage to Sergio Lozano’s original sketches. Dropping via the MoMA Design Store in Soho, New York, the AM95 OG “Big Bubble Reverse Neon” is rumoured to be limited to just 1,500 pairs. We’ll be keeping an eye out for future EU drops—but don’t hold your breath.
Threaded together with all the same ingredients as the iconic “Neon” edition, this make-up quite literally flips the script. The signature neon Air units stay put, as do the matching pill logo and mini Swoosh. However, back when the Air Max 95 was pitched as a trail runner, Nike’s design team decided that a white midsole and lighter gradient would be too prone to picking up dirt and grime—so this colourway was shelved.
Now, collectors and longtime fans finally have the chance to own a ‘lost sketch’ of the iconic “Neon 110s.” But with numbers this limited, it won’t be easy. The “Reverse Gradient” also comes with three sets of laces—white, black, and neon—so you can tweak the look however you like.
Better than the OG? That’s up for debate. Either way, stay locked to The Sole Supplier for all the latest on the Nike Air Max 95 OG “Big Bubble Reverse Neon.”
