Nike’s Yardrunners series commemorates the Air Max 95’s 30th anniversary with an exclusive collection inspired by four HBCUs. One of the most popular styles in the lineup is the Nike Air Max 95 “Yardrunners Morehouse”, a tribute to the historically Black, men’s liberal arts college that was an alma mater of prominent figures such as Martin Luther King Jr., Samuel L. Jackson, and Spike Lee.
This AM95 features light grey shades on the lower panels with stripes on the bright red layers to represent the Maroon Tigers. The pitch-black mesh eyestays allow the 3M reflective lines on the eyelets to stand out. An embroidered white Swoosh decorates the lateral rear area, complementing the embossed Nike branding on the tongue. Morehouse College details include the “M” on the tongue, the “Et Facta Est Lux (And There Was Light) motto on the medial section, the Maroon Tiger emblem on the sockliner, and the 1867 founding date. The patented Max Air bubbles in the forefoot and heel provide maximum cushioning and shock absorption underfoot. A striped TPU shank plate and blacked-out waffle sole deliver the finishing touches to this captivating colourway.
Set to launch on the Nike SNKRS app and select UK retailers, you can find out where to buy the Nike Air Max 95 “Yardrunners Morehouse” by keeping it locked to The Sole Supplier!
