Nike Air Max 97 Ripstop Dark Olive Sail

After celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2022, which brought back several OG styles like the “Silver Bullet” and “Atlantic Blue”, the classic water ripple-inspired Nike Air Max 97 presents all-new colourways for the seasonal transition. This Nike Air Max 97 “Ripstop Dark Olive Sail” arrives with autumn-appropriate colours, infusing olive green with pops of orange similar to “Flight Jacket” colour schemes in the past.

Named after the year of its release, the Air Max 97 debuted the brand’s first full-length visible Air unit. Designer Christian Tresser utilised the natural flow of water ripples and the sleek shape of Japanese bullet trains to form its streamlined, low-cut construction. This colourway flaunts a durable ripstop mesh base with olive green suede overlays encompassing the mudguard. Leather sail white tones cover the wavy panels, while Swooshes on the sides and tongue come in orange. The olive green PU midsole sits atop the full-length Air Max bubble, while the dark-toned waffle sole completes the design of this autumn-friendly makeover.
