Nike Air More Uptempo Gradient Pink

The 26-year-old Nike More Uptempo has a gridded and gradient new release and is a tribute to the Uptempo’s designer, Wilson Smith. Take a closer look at the Nike More Uptempo Gradient Pink.

The base of this Nike Uptempo is a ripstop material in a pastel medley of pink to purple gradient with a white gridded pattern. The iconic ‘90s graffiti-inspired “AIR” logos on both sides of the shoe are pebbled leather. The outlines around the logos are grey with a 3M reflective finish.

The heel and tongue pull tabs are striped black and white, matching the theme of the mini Swooshes on the toe cap and the lateral heel. In lieu of Nike branding on the silver tongue tabs, you’ll find “12.05.1983”, the date that Smith joined Nike. The right insole features Smith’s signature while the left insole has a Philippians 2:3-4 message (“…in humility count others more significant than yourselves”) in honour of Smith. White soles with exposed Air units in transparent casing complete the look of the sneakers.
