Nike Air Presto Icons Hyper Blue

Having a bit of a Freaky Friday moment is this Icons edition of the Nike Air Presto. The Icons pack is a collection that celebrates its classic silhouettes by using an equally classic colourway. Embracing all the signature fades and tones that made the Air Max Plus “Hyper Blue” so popular is this iteration of the Air Presto, introducing familiar details on unfamiliar territory.

The Presto’s TPU rib cage is here in black, similar to the TPVR (Thermoplastic Vinyl Resin) welded lines on the TN Air Max Plus “Hyper Blue”. The one-piece upper bears a gradient that fades from dark to light, embracing the OG blue that can be found on the TN, yet is seldom seen on a Presto. Although there are no visible Air Units on the silhouette, the segmented midsole has been decorated in the appropriate colours to mimic the tooling on the “Hyper Blue”. A yellow Swoosh sits on the foam midsole, a similar hue used on the rubber tongue insignia above, replicating the iconic hexagonal branding from the Plus. Decorated on the insole is the “ICONS” print in yellow, following suit to the rest of the pack.

Nike has yet to unveil a release date for this Air Presto Icons “Hyper Blue” edition, so in the meantime, make sure to tune into The Sole Supplier where we can give you regular updates!
