Nike Air Tech Challenge 2 Hot Lava

The “Hot Lava” Nike Tech Challenge 2 makes it way back onto the shelves after a five year hiatus. This is the fifth time the infamous colourway has been retro’d by the Swoosh, with many a Agassi fan eager to swipe up another Tech Challenge for their collection.

This version looks to hit the nail on the head with a true-to-form tooling, putting a smile on the faces of OG sneakerheads across the globe. Unlike the 2014 and 2019 edition, the leather quality gets an upgrade, along with the notable ‘lava’ hits on the forefoot and heel being closer to the original. This 2024 iteration does however land with preaged detailing across the midsole, using a vintage yellowed hue across the rear foam cushioning.
