Nike Dunk Low Blue Suede

Nike focuses on the Dunk yet again, this time choosing a rich blue suede with which to decorate it. The design team over at the Swoosh has started moving away from the usual leather construction, which may have been a vital feature during the silhouette’s basketball and skate era, but has become less necessary.

This combination of deep blue and tan suede is a step away from the binary colourways which have made the Dunk so popular in the last few years. Leather does however make it onto the upper via the Swoosh and tongue label, a dark navy cut used on both. Underfoot, a third shade of blue has been included, drawing further attention to the colour’s relevance on this edition. The regular Dunk sole and insole have been used on this iteration, so you can expect to find all the usual levels of comfort as found on previous releases.
