Nike’s retro running lifestyle model inspired by two Nike Pegasus silhouettes in the past gets ready for the autumn transition in a brand-new colourway. While the Oregon-based brand has plenty of running shoe silhouettes throughout its 50-year history, the Nike P-6000 perfectly captures the essence of retro design. This “Khaki” rendition gets decked out in a white and khaki combination, with South Korea’s Hangul language branding that spells out Nike.
Inspired by the Nike Pegasus 25 and Pegasus 2006, the Nike P-6000 combines these design elements to form a mesh upper with linear overlays to keep the upper intact. Part of the Bill Bowerman series, this lifestyle shoe fulfils the retro running zeitgeist in today’s modern sneaker scene. This colourway gets an autumn-ready makeover composed of a white mesh base with sail white leather overlays. Light khaki accents adorn the lower half of the shoe, encompassing the suede panels, inner lining, and foam midsole. South Korean characters that translate to “Nike” adorn the heel, hang tag, and sockliner, along with a large N logo showcasing the brand’s 1972 origin. The black waffle sole wraps up the design of this heritage-inspired silhouette.
