Salomon ACS + White Silver

Salomon adds another techy trail runner to its already impressive 2023 line-up. Delving back into its extensive archive for inspiration, the ACS is a combination of what the brand is calling “a modern adaptation of archive gold”. Since hitting the shelves with its Pro version, the “Lapis Blue Black” and “Triple Black” colourways have proven once again that the Alpine experts know a thing or two about colour blocking. Now, the slightly cheaper ACS+ is here to quench your trail-inspired thirst with the arrival of this refreshing “White Silver” edition.

As the name suggests, the ACS+ is formed from a mostly white mesh with silver accents sprinkled throughout. Silver lace loops give the silhouette a boot-like aesthetic, with the chunky sole unit underfoot fitting nicely within the motif. Similar to the XT-6 and XT-4, a high mudguard traces along the sidewall and onto the front toe, with the addition of textured panels on high-wear areas for added protection. Of course, the Quicklace system and rear pull tab makes slipping the ACS+ on so simple that they’ll end up taking your number one spot in the rotation.
