Montreal-based skateboard and streetwear brand Dime forges a partnership with Vans for a limited-edition collaboration featuring the classic Vans Rowley XLT. Part of the inaugural Reanimated Series, the two skate giants aim to revive Vans Classics models from the archives in their OG constructions. This Dime x Vans Rowley XLT “Navy” harkens back to the chunky skate shoe’s Y2K origins, clad in its titular hue and co-branding.
First released in 2001, the Vans Rowley XLT is a signature skate shoe of British pro skater and 2000 Thrasher Magazine Skater of the Year Geoff Rowley, one of the most influential figures in the ‘90s and early 2000s. The shoe has a navy blue suede underlay with nubuck overlays on the toe, heel, and lower eyestay. White Vans Sidestripes adorn the sides, while Dime branding appears on the forefoot and lateral rear. Meanwhile, pops of red highlight the Vans tag on the lateral quarter and tongue. The gum rubber outsole wraps up the comeback of this Y2K skate icon.
