GALLERY DEPT. x Vans Rowley XLT LX Brown

Los Angeles-based clothing brand GALLERY DEPT. reunites with skateboard giant Vans for a five-pack collaboration featuring the archival Vans Rowley XLT. The two brands previously joined forces on a pre-distressed Old Skool inspired by punk rock concert flyers. This GALLERY DEPT. x Vans Rowley XLT LX “Brown” rendition displays a stunning colour palette that adds more depth to the early ‘00s skate icon.

The Vans Rowley XLT returned for the first time since 2001 after collaborating with Montreal-based brand Dime. This signature skate shoe by icon Geoff Rowley pioneered the chunky and puffy skate shoe aesthetics during its time. Thanks to the popularity surrounding old-school kicks, the silhouette is back to relive its glory. This iteration has a pink suede base with perforations on the toe box and sides. Brown leather overlays and lining reinforce the bulky upper, while the red Vans Sidestripe add vibrance to the sneaker. Yellow GALLERY DEPT. tags decorate the tongue as embossed XLT branding adorns the rear. More co-branded labels appear on the sockliner. Vans’ signature gum sole completes the collaborative sneaker’s eye-catching makeover.
