The JD-Exclusive Nike Air Max 95 “Apple Green” has become more and more difficult to find over the last few years. Now, 16 years after the shoe originally dropped, Nike is bringing them back.

I wasn't able to find the Nike Air Max 95 "Apple Green" on the old JD website, but I'm sure the screenshot above will be a great throwback for a lot of OG 110 heads. Someone hit us up if they do find the OGs!
Released in 2010 via JD Sports (John David Sports), a time when the retailer had only just expanded over to France and didn’t have any US locations, an era where walking in store and seeing the shoes on the wall would still surprise you. If only we knew how good we had it back then.
The “Apple Green” 110 sits among few hallowed JD exclusives such as the Air Max 98 “Team Orange” and Air Max 90 “Spruce Lime” which retro’d back in 2008 as an exclusive to the retailer. These cult favourite retro’s are never guaranteed, so don’t take these for granted, because once they’re gone, they’re gone.

Buying the “Apple Green” 110s back then meant picking them up in-store, the small “Only at JD” hangtag with “King of Trainers” on the reverse still attached to your pair cause you asked the JD employee nicely if you could keep it on.
You went home, took a photo of them on your iPhone 4 or Galaxy S, or maybe even your HTC Desire. If you lived in one of the big cities like Liverpool, Manchester or London, these got you some serious nods from your mates, especially if you were up North West. But it really depends on who your mates were, cause even back then the 110 still had a bit of a reputation.
This was an era where the Air Max 95 would still run you back £110, which adjusted for inflation for today’s money is £172.17, so we’re not too far off people.
Shoutout to @nitrousoxide19 who put me onto the “Apple Green” AM95 back in 2024, that was the first time I’d heard of the colourway and how revered it was within the community. He didn’t have a personal pair within his collection at the time, but I’m sure he’ll be picking up a pair come launch date.
"When I first heard rumours in 2025 that the “Apple Green” Air Max 95s were coming back,I was absolutely buzzing. The materials might have changed up, but the history and the chance to own a grail in time for summer is amazing. I hope the youngsters double-up and store these for when releases get quiet for Max 95s," comments @nitrousoxide19.
I’d argue it’s the most important 110 release of 2026. Why? Well it marks the return of a niche favourite among the community, a shoe that has never gotten a retro. As the years have gone by since the “Apple Green” Air Max 95 sat on the shelves of your local JD, more and more OG pairs have crumbled or become unwearable.
If you're on of the few people who've stepped foot in the company's head office, then perhaps you’ve seen the pair lingering in the archives, sat in a pile of other JD-exclusive Air Max 95s that will one day see the light of day. For most, this will be the first time people are getting an in-hand look at the mythical colourway.
This retro is bringing back the feeling, and after 16 years, you bet the 110 community are ready. Releasing on the Friday the 24th of April for £175 via JD.co.uk and Nike.com, be sure to set a release reminder for these cause they will not be sticking around.
