The collection brings three silhouettes, each reimagined with Repetto’s distinctive ballerina DNA. Birkenstock’s most classic sandal, the Arizona, is reinterpreted with oversized round buckles; the Scala is a new silhouette with a rounded toe, two top straps and a Repetto-style laced bow; and another new design the Opéra is giving Boston vibes but with a ballerina bow and ribbon laces.

Colours include matte baby pink and black, and patent leather in black and red – all classic Repetto tones – featuring a gingham footbed lining (Repetto’s signature motif).

This collab comes at a time where ballet flat-style shoes are at the forefront of footwear trends with sneakerinas and Mary Jane trainers – so it’s interesting to see balletcore enter the Birkenstock world.
