Miu Miu and New Balance's longstanding partnership is in its tennis era. The high-fashion and sneaker brands – which initially felt like unlikely conspirators – took the fashion and sneaker worlds by storm with the low profile 574 back in 2022.
Since the drop and through various iterations, the fruits of the partnership have become a staple of the sartorially inclined, with the 530 SL becoming the shoe that launched a thousand dupes. That double-lace trend that you can't cast your eyes to the floor without seeing? That can be traced back to Miu Miu x New Balance.
Now, those shoes can be seen on the feet of one of tennis's most promising young athletes, 22-year-old Coco Gauff, while the partners have fitted out the player with custom uniforms for Wimbledon 2026.
It's not the first time Miu Miu has partnered with the burgeoning tennis star. Gauff was crowned one of the faces of the house's SS26 campaign, while last summer she wore a spate of graphic ensembles by the pair to a series of WTA 1000 tournaments.
Guaff's custom line of tennis gear consists of four different silhouettes, and her determination to wear them all has acted as a bit of extra motivation on the court, she told British Vogue.

"The most important thing for me throughout the design process was the fit on my body," she said, adding that the looks "just lay on the body right, even when I'm jumping and moving around...I think there's something a bit intimidating when you're playing someone good, but also has a good outfit on."
Fashion's symbiotic relationship with sport is longstanding, but has been brought into sharp relief this year with Spain's national football team donning head-to-toe Loewe, Nike turning its Mercurial boot into a full fit for LISA, Bukayo Saka being the face of Stone Island and New Balance's collab, and creative plays on traditional jerseys being spotted everywhere, from the runways to the streets.
It really is gearing up to be a sports-meets-fashion summer.
