One of Nike’s most in-demand sneakers, this y2k style has been a favourite of The Sole Supplier office since its release back in 2019.
To make your online shopping experience just a little bit easier, we’ve put together this Nike P-6000 guide to answer every question you may have.
From sizing and comfort to styling and the best colourways, here’s everything you need to know about the Nike P-6000.

The Nike P-6000 does fit true to size. We’ve had numerous pairs come into our office over the years and every time we’ve found that it’s bang on.
Thanks to its old school runner silhouette, they’re also a great option if you have wider feet, as you can get a great fit without needing to size up and leave an uncomfortable gap. And it also comes in handy half-sizes so you’re bound to find a pair that fits you.

We’ve given this shoe multiple wear-tests over the years and can confidently say that it is incredibly comfortable.
While it doesn’t pack the Nike Air technology which can be found in Air Max silhouettes, the P-6000’s midsole unit still offers a great amount of cushioning on foot and its lightweight build means it’s perfect for all-day wear, especially during the hot summer months.

Although the P-6000 draws inspiration from Nike running silhouettes such as the Pegasus range and it gives off that vintage runner vibe, we would not recommend it for running.
The P-6000 was developed as a lifestyle trainer, and doesn’t offer the traction and cushioning support that a running shoe would. There’s so many other alternatives.
We’re not lying to you when we say that the shoe goes with just about everything. It’s easygoing for every day but sleek enough to dress up or down.
When you go about styling a running shoe, it can feel like you’re leaning too much into the sport vibe, but sometimes that’s the point. Sportmaxxing is the way to go. You can opt to style it in athleisure outfits with shorts or skirts, which is probably where this sneaker is most at home. We also like this shoe in vintage looks, think light-washed jeans and a graphic tee, a tracksuit, or capris. Content creator @cecile_ihp here even styled it with a dress.

There’s so many options. Nike offers a huge range of colourways, so consider what colours are missing from your wardrobe or what tones you usually opt for, and whether you want a pop of colour or a neutral hue.
