The time has finally come for the Virgil Abloh Archives Jordan 1 “Alaska” drop. Some lucky people had the chance to win a pair via the VAA website last week, and to those people we give a wry smile. This is the first collaboration for Nike’s new Air Liquid Max silhouette. Giving Hiroshi Fujiwara of fragment the reins, this isn’t the first time he has been included on the initial launch of a new Air Max. While the triple black colourway is definitely a cold touch, the jury is still out on the new Liquid Max. We’re yet to be convinced, but with this and last week’s cool London activation, it’s heading in the right direction.

Puma continues to champion the Wedge trend with this Speedcat edition. Having previously sold out, this “Black” colourway is making a return to shelves, leaving the cool girls with no option but to spend their hard earned cash. Plus, if your saving pot is still miles off from affording Isabel Marant’s Bekett Sneaker, then this really is a solid alternative.
