November has been a MASSIVE month for sneakers. With fire releases dropping after fire releases, there's never been a better time to be a sneakerhead. That being said, we've done the impossible task of rounding up the ten best drops of this month, with an honour mention at the end. From general releases to some of the most exclusive kicks in the world, we've carefully handpicked November's most desirable drops that you need in your sneaker collection!
Air Jordan 1 'Not For Resale'
Kicking off November, we have the Air Jordan 1 'Not For Resale' which is part November 7th's 'No Ls' pack. Adorned with several anti-reselling messages from the blatantly obvious “Not For Resale” on the midsole to the “Please Crease” on the toebox, the shoe is painted in Jordan Brand's classic colour blocking and is dressed in a combination of premium sail and black tumbled leathers. With all that said, resellers are still trying to flip these, so it's both iconic and ironic.
Supreme x COMME des GARÃONS x Nike Air Force 1 'Black'
Although this isn't the first time these three juggernauts have linked up, the Supreme x COMME des GARÇONS x Nike Air Force 1 'Black' is by far one of their best collaborations to date. Dropped on November 8th, this AF1 is crafted from premium tumbled leather. Around the heel, co-branded detailing is embroidered in white, while a complementary Air-infused midsole offers some much needed contrast.
Nike Air Max 97 'Metallic Pack'
With a shadow of a doubt, the gold colourway from the Nike Air Max 97 'Metallic Pack' is the best one of the three. Launching on November 9th, this AM97 features a very unique colour scheme. The top half of the upper is painted in a stealthy black hue, while the bottom half boasts a gold finish that glimmers in the light. A small red Swoosh logo can be seen on the side panels, and to round it all off, a full Air unit sits down below for additional comfort and a smoother stride.
Diamond Supply Co. x Nike SB Dunk Low 'Black'
Leaked earlier this year, the Diamond Supply Co. x Nike SB Dunk Low 'Black' is without a doubt one of the best collabs from Nicky Diamonds and the Swoosh. Hitting shelves on November 10th, a croc-like texture found on the original remains, while a Tiffany blue and white velcro Swooshes takes the attention on the lateral and medial sides. To complete the look, a clean white midsole and a black outsole rounds it off, while metal aglets on the tip of its laces provide an unapologetically luxe aesthetic.
adidas AlphaEDGE 4D 'White'
First revealed in May of this year in a grey colourway, the adidas AlphaEDGE 4D 'White' serves as a more versatile version of the highly coveted Futurecraft 4D. Launched on November 17th, this futuristic shoe boasts an upper made of FORGEFIBER and sits on top of a sole unit made with light and oxygen via Digital Light Synthesis, a 3D printing process that provides unprecedented support, cushioning, and energy return. With some sizes still sitting, this could be the first GR Futurecraft sneaker.
Union LA x Air Jordan 1 'Storm Blue'
It was quite hard to choose between the two colourways, but the Union LA x Air Jordan 1 'Storm Blue' surely takes the cake as the best version. Hitting shelves on November 17th, this shoe is inspired by several OG colourways, with a very obvious stitch pattern to create a mash-up like we've never seen before. Featuring aspects from the iconic 'White/Blue' colourway, complete with the ankle from the legendary 'Bred', the AJ1 is crafted from supple leather and weathered suede for that extra vintage vibe.
adidas Consortium Futurecraft 4D 'Onyx'
First revealed back in July as a 'Friends & Family' exclusive colourway, the adidas Consortium Futurecraft 4D 'Onyx' was given a wider release on November 20th. Crafted from an ultra breathable Primeknit upper painted in an all grey hue, this sneaker sits atop a full length 4D midsole doused in an 'Ash Green' shade for unbeatable cushioning. Complementary accents also make their way to the upper, lending way to an understated yet unique design.
adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 'Sesame'
Since it first leaked back in December, sneakerheads everywhere have called the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 'Sesame' the best Yeezy of 2018, so when it dropped on November 23rd, they were definitely not disappointed. Similar in design to the coveted 'Triple White' colourway, the 'Sesame' boasts an off white Primeknit upper, and like all Yeezy 350s that have released since the beginning of time, they sit on top of a uniquely shaped Boost midsole. However, unlike the majority of 350s, these sneakers feature a gum rubber outsole for added durability, just like the 'Semi Frozen Yellow'.
Off-White x Nike Zoom Fly SP 'Black'
The Off-White x Nike “THE TEN” collection was arguably the best sneaker collaboration to drop last year, and it doesn't look like the hype is dying down anytime soon. Released on November 28th, the Off-White x Nike Zoom Fly SP 'Black' is arguably the more versatile of the two new colourways. Featuring a stealthy autumn ready hue with a translucent TPU upper and stitched-on Swoosh, the 'Black' features “FOAM” text along the midsole, as well as Virgil Abloh's signature deconstruction throughout.
adidas Yeezy 500 'Salt'
Leaked at the end of April, the adidas Yeezy 500 'Salt' is constructed of a combination of mesh, suede, and leather and it released on November 30th. A greyed out version of the 'Blush', the 'Salt' is expected to be much more limited in comparison. To add to this, unlike the Yeezy Boost 700, this particular chunky Yeezy doesn't feature any Boost cushioning, and instead opts for adiPrene technology, offering endless comfort and cushioning.
adidas Originals ZX 4000 4D 'White'
Although this hasn't been officially confirmed for this month, it definitely deserves an honourable mention. Rumoured to release on November 30th, the adidas Originals ZX 4000 4D 'White' is a lesson in unique sneaker styling. Crafted from a combination of materials, including premium suede and breathable mesh, the shoe is painted in a white colourway, with hits of black, yellow, and pink throughout for a pop of colour. A leather ZX 4000 4D label can be seen on the lacing system, written in a retro font, and the same branding can be seen around the heel portion of the shoe.
