Nike's sustainable Move to Zero campaign continues with two new Jordan 1s joining the line-up. The sustainability initiative has seen a big year across some of 2021's most popular styles, including Jordans, Dunks and Blazers, with at least 20% of each shoe being made from recycled materials. Now, thanks to climate-conscious sneakerheads, the initiative is now seeing its way into the smaller size runs. The Air Jordan 1 Low GS "Beige White Pink" and matching Jordan 1 Mid GS "Pink Tan" are the perfect additions for those of us with small feet, so let’s take a closer look at the shoes.
The sustainable “Beige White Pink” Jordan 1 Low appears to feature a clean white leather base, with colour pops coming from characterful canvas overlays in beige, yellow and pink. A green liner peeks out over the top of the shoe, appearing again on the insole and the Jumpman tongue branding. Elsewhere, the Air Jordan Wings insignia is embroidered in white over a pretty-in-pink canvas.
The “Pink Tan” AJ1 Mids follow the same colour scheme, but appear to be dressed in a full canvas construction. This time, the lime green is limited to the insoles. The Jordan Wings insignia and Jumpman branding are both embroidered in white over a Khaki background.
Both shoes feature a yellow Nike Swoosh, and a crisp, white sole that melts into the semi-translucent Grind Rubber outsole typical of the Move to Zero initiative.
We’re yet to see a release date for the Nike Air Jordan 1 Low Grade School “Beige White Pink,” and the Jordan 1 Mid GS "Pink Tan," but keep it locked to The Sole Supplier if you’re planning to add it to your collection, as we’ll be the first to let you know when they’re available.
In other Jordan news, images of a new Air Jordan 1 High "Dark Marina Blue" have emerged.
