Having already previewed its Lunar New Year-themed Dunk Low Remastered and Air Force 1 silhouettes last week, Nike has returned ready with the next instalment of its yearly selection. Celebrating the Year of the Dragon, this latest pair sees the Air Jordan 1 Low silhouette arrive with dragon-themed detailing.
Following up from last year's Year of the Rabbit range, Jordan Brand is now set to mark Chinese New Year in style. Atop a white midsole, we see "Sail" tinted leather panelling, perfectly contrasted by "Oil Green" overlays. Flaunting a textured finish, these overlays look to mimic the scales of a dragon. Elsewhere, a burgundy-red hue decorates the Swoosh, laces, and insoles of this pair, delivering yet further contrast.
Elsewhere, gold decorates the heel tab of this pair. In line with Chinese tradition, a red envelope arrives alongside the shoes, stamped with the Jordan Jumpman logo. Inside, a silver Jordan Jumpman lace charm is featured. For those looking to get their hands on this pair, it's expected to launch on the 24th of December directly from Nike's SNKRS platform. Up next, an on-foot look at the Trophy Room x Air Jordan 1 has appeared.
