For those of you who've always wanted the New Balance 2002R "Protection Pack" in your collection but didn't want to pay those ridiculous resale prices, new rumours have just arrived suggesting that two brand new colourways are on the way! Stepping away from the monochromatic aesthetic that NB had going on last year, here's everything that you need to know!
Thanks to these brand new shots spotted on Japanese sneaker site Fullress, we're getting our first ever look at what may potentially be the next two colourways to release as part of the coveted pack. Kicking it all off is the ultra wearable "Grey" which is ideal for those who took a L on the "Rain Cloud" in 2021. Dipped in dark grey tones throughout, the palette is similar to what you'd find on a 991 or even a 992. The "Navy" on the other hand, is the first colourway to stray away from the usual black and white vibe that we've become accustomed to over the past few months. Painted in a carefully selected range of deep blue hues, this is definitely the one we'd choose!
Of course, it wouldn't be part of the popular New Balance range without the deconstructed panelling throughout. Designed by the wonderfully talented Charlotte Lee, she has made a future icon that will definitely stand the test of time. With "unfinished" leather and suede panels and pre-aged accents throughout, you seriously don't want to miss out on this dreamy duo.
There's no news yet on if or when these New Balance 2002R "Protection Pack" colourways will land, so make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for all of the latest! Let us know which pair you're feeling the most, and in related news, the New Balance 2002R is getting a Joe Freshgoods makeover!
