There is more good news for Air Max 95 enthusiasts as this week marks the rerelease of the “Fresh Mint” colourway. Debuting back in the summer of 2019, a time when sneaker culture was still all sunshine and smiles, getting these in-hand will definitely have you beaming ear-to-ear once again.

I remember these landing during the late 2010s, an era before the Air Max 95 went fully mainstream and its ‘bad boy’ reputation still lingered. Sure, we didn’t have the big bubble treatment, but that gradient panelling was on point and the palette choices from the colourists at Nike were clean.
During that period, sneakerheads were busy comparing the “Fresh Mint” to the “Aluminium” colourway, and with only a few months between the two releases, they had everyone doing a double take every time they passed you on the street.
There’s not much between the two, just ask the 110 community, the likes of which includes serious Air Max 95 collector @nitrousoxide19 and they’ll tell you the “Aluminium” just edges it. Nitrous was also the person who informed me that the “Fresh Mint” was actually a retro version of the Air Max 95 “New Green” from 2009, so for those that didn’t know, now you do. Don’t say we don’t bring you that great sneaker knowledge.

For those that were around in 2019, they should remember the Black Friday Nike sale and how monumental it was for 110 fans as both colourways went on sale for less than £80. Shoutout to @cheshirecreps for summarising the feeling in this great meme.

In the almost seven years that has passed, it’s obvious that the 2019 pairs of the Air Max 95 “Fresh Mint” are well and truly cooked. So if you’re still holding onto your fragile pair, then now is the perfect time for a re-up.

Plus, if you’ve really been around and have your 2009 “Fresh Mint” 110, you may want to save that archive-worthy pair from crumbling and pick up a new version instead…I know which option I’d choose!
The Air Max 95 “Fresh Mint” 2026 is a close one-to-one, with a warmer tint across the side panelling and of course the new big bubble tooling. Sadly, they also come with the newer price tag of £175, but considering we might not see these for a hot minute, it’s best to secure your pair while you can.
Dropping on Thursday the 4th of June 2026 at JD and other UK retailers, you can set up your release reminder by keeping it locked to The Sole Supplier.
