Following on from the adorable Nike Dunk Low Next Nature Pink (pictured above) and the Swoosh Brand's more sustainable alternative to the Nike Dunk Low Panda, are three more 'Next Nature' Dunks that are about to make you go green for 2022. We are all aware that sustainability definitely needs to be taken more seriously if humankind is going to live and long and luscious future, so it's great to see big brands such as Nike taking moves towards using more earth-friendly materials.
Made of up to 50% recycled materials, the Nike Move To Zero Dunks use synthetic leather, rather than real leather which has been seen before, and the 'Move To Zero' initiative is made clear by the neon pinwheel logo taking over the insole. It be great if in the future, this is made the norm, rather than the exception.
Next on the sustainable release roster is the Nike Dunk Low Next Nature "White/Sail", which takes on neutral hues to create an extremely clean Dunk Low. As usual, the speckled Grind rubber takes over the outsole and melts into a crisp-white midsole, whilst perforations on the toe box allow for enhanced breathability.

Don't worry if you don't manage to cop these, however, as a very similar pair have emerged, albeit with slightly different colouring. The Nike Dunk Low Next Nature "White/Cream" looks very similar to the "Sail" iteration, but will be releasing with subtly darker overlays. Even though these are again made with synthetic materials, the official images make it appear like tumbled leather and authentic to the usual Dunks we are so used to seeing on the shelves.
A matching branding label at the top of the tongue corresponds to the lace unit, as well as the embroidery on the back tab.
Looking for a little more colour? Then the classic "University Red" colourway has been given an eco-friendly makeover just for you! Still equipped with that Grind outsole, this seems to be the only visible difference between this one and the real OG.
Again, we're loving the approach Nike are taking to become more earth conscious, and can't wait to see what else they do in the future!
