The adidas Adilette 22 Slides are a futuristic take on a humble summer staple. This Crystal White rendition features a faceted design that’s been inspired by topographic maps depicting expeditions to Mars and the stages of a new planet. It’s crafted from bio-based EVA with 25% plant-based material derived from sugarcane. Meanwhile, branding is kept stealth-minimal—you get a small Trefoil logo and ‘THE BRAND WITH THE THREE STRIPES’ wording along the medial sides—so it doesn’t detract from the striking dimensional silhouette. The insoles present yet another riff on texture and are gently ridged for a secure fit. Underfoot, abstract pebbled outsoles continue the planetary theme, while providing perfect traction for the beach and beyond.
