HAL Studios x adidas Velosamba Black

Australian multi-faceted creative imprint HAL Studios joins forces with adidas for their first official collaborative project featuring the iconic adidas Samba’s cycling version, the Velosamba. Whilst the German sportswear giant recently dropped a handful of collaborative adidas Samba colourways from the Consortium Cup, this joint venture with HAL Studios is something you certainly shouldn’t miss out on. With only 300 pairs produced, the HAL Studios x adidas Velosamba “Black” is a certified collector’s item.

Also dubbed the Velosamba "HSDT-MK-01", the hugely limited collaboration places emphasis on premium textural elements, outfitted in a black buttery leather base with a soft suede T-toe overlay. Meanwhile, vintage-inspired cream white tones engulf the 3-Stripes, adorned with ornate zig-zag stitching to form the signature sawtooth detail. The pebbled leather eyestay, nylon tongue, and suede heel tab appear in the same cream white hue, juxtaposing the all-black upper. A co-branded label decorates the lateral rear, while the back tab has a contrasting HSDT and adidas mountain logo. The cream white modified outsole features a two-bolt cleat mount with a reinforced midsole that flexes to ensure comfort. This cycling sneaker has an extra set of regular laces, allowing you to swap out the speed lacing system.
