This newly minted partnership sees the sportswear giant join a fellow German powerhouse brand for a multi-year contract, kitting the entire crew from drivers to mechanics in 3-Stripes merchandise. Donning a podium-worthy design, the adidas SL 72 RS Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One Team “Black” flaunts a motorsports-inspired aesthetic.

This early ‘70s trainer arrives in a pitch-black nylon base with premium suede overlays on the T-toe, eyestay, and rear. Black leather 3-Stripes grace the sidewalls, whilst a silver adidas SL 72 label adorns the lateral panel. Vibrant teal accents highlight the topmost portion of the midsole and Trefoil tag on the tongue. The Mercedes AMG logo decorates the heel tab, complementing the co-branding on the sockliner. A dual-density EVA midsole sits underfoot to provide long-lasting comfort, propped up by a durable ripple sole.
