The classic New Balance 1906R continues to gain traction as the brand presents more colourways. Following the Aimé Leon Dore collaboration, the 1906R emerges with another green-based colourway. The New Balance 1906R “Volt” dresses the airy mesh upper with vibrant volt tones to stand out during summer.
Boston-based sportswear powerhouse New Balance released the 1906R following the success of the 2002R . The shoe was based on the 1906 running model from 2009, taking its name from New Balance’s year of establishment. This retro-inspired running shoe flaunts the throwback vibes of Y2K sneakers, flaunting a mesh base with textile overlays for durability. The New Balance 1906R has an updated midsole tooling borrowed from the New Balance 860v2. It features ABZORB midsole and Stability Web outsole to provide cushioning, comfort, and arch support.
This colourway flaunts a bright volt mesh base with grey textile overlays. Black accents adorn the N logos on the sides, lining, laces, and midsole. Yellow tones comprise the NB logos on the tongue and heel, while the heel cushioning pillars come in green to cap off the vibrant design.
