New Balance 550 Red

The appearance of past New Balance models have increased and climbed up the ranks amongst the best selling sneakers this year, the New Balance 550 Red is right around the corner just in time for the festive period.

The NB550 initially released in 1989 as a basketball shoe and haven't been touched since. Official images of the silhouette are now live, and after taking a closer look at the pair, this will surely be an instant cop for all New Balance and b-ballers out there.

Working on an ultra-premium leather that adorns the upper, the silhouette is colour-blocked with three different shades. Blanched out hue fills the panels throughout its medial and lateral sides while in contrast, vibrant shades of red then paint the silhouette's model number embroidered on the lateral forefront. Matching tonally, the brand's signature "N" logo is found on its quarter panels along with black accents on its ankle collar and sock liner.

Underneath, a solid midsole then outlined with a red and black outsole are put in place all to support the silhouette's chunky upper while still offering maximum comfort and durability since it's a basketball-focused shoe after all.
