New Balance 550 Sea Salt Multi

Did you know that the New Balance 550 is a legitimate rival to the likes of the Nike Air Force 1 and the adidas Stan Smith? That’s because it just looks great. Teddy Santis of Aimé Leon Dore knew this when he first saw it on an old Japan catalogue of the brand and helped rebuild it from scratch. It was relaunched in 2020 to great success and the rest is history. Get ready for the New Balance 550 “Sea Salt Multi”, one of the silhouette’s latest editions.

This NB 550 has a pure white mesh base. The suede overlays from heel to toe are in a pale grey hue. Light blue joins the colour arrangement via the convex and pillow-like “N” logos on both sides of the shoe as well as the “550” embroidered branding on the lateral mid-panels. Navy collar accents and heel clips add contrast at the heel area whilst a dash of green embellishes the heel clips. A white midsole and a full-length speckled gum outsole round out this release.
