Aside from the latest silhouettes, New Balance sneakers are composed of classic kicks taken from the archives. The New Balance 550 was basketball shoe first introduced in 1989. It was the low-cut version of the NB 650, a shoe which preceeded it and was also designed by Steve Smith. Its return in 2020 with the Aimé Leon Dore collaboration made the shoe popular and never stopped releasing in new colourways since then. This old-school sneaker comes with a mixture of materials on the upper and a rubber cupsole that grips basketball courts. The silhouette now lives out its days as a lifestyle shoe where it can be seen paving the streets across the world.

This women’s colourway features a white mesh upper with grey perforated suede overlays on the sides. Bright orange accents comprise the “N” labels on the sidewall and the collar panel. The tan suede heel boasts the NB logos in black. Sail white accents on the tongue lining and heel counter complete this summer-perfect rendition.
