New Balance 550 White Orange Grey

The New Balance 550 was initially launched in 1989 and got—thankfully—reintroduced in late 2020. This White Orange Grey rendition features plenty of the original traits, while making things a bit more modern with its coloured outsole. The upper is cast from premium white leather with a fully perforated mid-panel for breathability. Grey suede lands along the mudguard and inner medial sides and reinforces the toe. In terms of branding, you get the classic N appliqué, here rendered in tactile 3D along the outer medial sides. It’s coloured in a rusty orange hue that’s picked up again by the tongue, outsole and panelling along the heels.
