Bricks & Wood x New Balance 57/40 Green

New Balance has no doubt gained a mass number of fans in modern times, all thanks to the stream of collaborators who's been giving high-profile makeovers to some of the sportswear giant's notorious silhouettes. One of the brand's latest work is the Bricks & Wood x New Balance 57/40 Green, designed together with LA-based apparel company Bricks & Wood whose products are inspired by daily life in the South Central area.

The New Balance 57/40 is a model introduced in 2020, a modernised version of the classic NB574 with more premium layers and a multi-layered midsole. This co-branded rendition sees a blend of supple pig suede and breathable mesh panels, both of which premium features have become synonymous with highly sought-after New Balance trainers.

The uppers are predominantly hued in a green shade joined with contrasting hits of white on the oversized N logo midfoot and several trims here and there. The chunky midsole and outsole underfoot rounds off the look, sporting tones of cream, fuschia, and white.
