New Balance 9060 Washed Burgundy

New Balance’s retro-futuristic shoe that takes design cues from the brand’s 990 and 99X series, the 9060, dons a winy fall colour. First released in 2022, this shoe was a pandemic project for New Balance designers James Lee and Yue Wu. Presenting the New Balance 9060 “Washed Burgundy”.

This NB 9060 starts out with a washed burgundy mesh base. The pigskin suede overlays are in the same tonal hue whilst the leather accents on the toe and heel areas are grey. The asymmetrical “N” logos on the lateral quarter panels are white with cream-coloured borders. The ones on the medial side are embroidered in white, with a line treatment. A dual-density white and cream-coloured midsole with ABZORB and SBS cushioning and a diamond-patterned grey rubber outsole cap off this release.
